Upholstered Furniture

The upholstered furniture is entirely bench made.  The frames, made in-house, are hardwood, which is glued, screwed and doweled to ensure longevity.  All decks are eight-way, hand tied coil springs over jute webbing.  Armchairs and sofas have spring edge decks.  The sizes of the wooden feet are adjusted to compensate for the thickness of the fabric so that the set back is consistent.  A single craftsman upholsters each piece so that a consistency of shape is always maintained.
