gary: “almost everyone eats dinner in front of the television and almost no one admits it.” this was a commentary on how people are in many ways isolated by television and don’t interact with one another.

10 guests sat at individual tv-tray tables and had to confront this reality with a tb tower blocking their view of guests across the way. in forced irony, guests had to interact with people sitting right next to them, while watching a looped video of people celebrating, eating, dancing and partying.
